The location, in the Edneyville area, is northeast of Hendersonville and southeast of Fletcher. There is at least one winery and apple orchards near this area. Hope they are able to get it in under control soon.

Yes, the fire is out, but did burn a little over 400 acres. Several buildings/houses were lost.

Fires have been going on in the different counties of WNC due to the ongoing drought. That's really unfortunate about people losing homes and/or other structures.
