My neighbor has bought into Legacy at Mills River. To my knowledge, they have still not broken ground. My understanding is they have eliminated one of their main buildings. My guess is it has been hard to get people to buy into something that is just a raw piece of land at this point. My neighbor told me there is going to be an announcement soon. Perhaps they are finally going to be breaking ground.

I recently put my name on the waitlist at Deerfield. It costs $1,000, and 50% is refundable if you don’t move there. The waitlist is currently 7-10 years. I also put my name on the waitlist at Givens on Sweeten Creak rd. That cost $1500, I am not sure how long that waitlist is to get in.

Givens and Deerfield have very different cost structures. You have to do your homework. I thought Givens was much more cheerful than Deerfield, but both are nice. I am 10 years away from a LLRC lifestyle.
