Hello All,
I wanted some info, Family of 4, with a toddler and a pre teen. What areas close to Rutherfordton would be ideal for raising a family? Looking for good school system ( Elementary and Middle School). Family friendly with neighbors some what close.

Read the title of the thread. The OP appears to have a job in Rutherfordton.

To the OP, we have a regular poster who lives in Rutherford County. Hopefully they'll see this and chime in.

Why not just live in Rutherfordton? If you aren’t sold on the traditional, local public school system, take a look at the Thomas Jefferson Charter Schools in the County. They include K-12. Thomas Jefferson High School is rated one of the top ten high schools in the state of NC.

Thus his question "What areas close to Rutherfordton would be ideal for raising a family?" I don't understand your apparent inability to comprehend this post. Its pretty straightforward...

Stay out of Spindale is all I can offer given I have no exposure yet to the raising family/school choice world you're currently in.

Live in Rutherfordton. There’s a nice neighborhood called Forest Hills. It’s close to the hospital. There are also some cute houses near main straight and near the hospital. A lot of people send their kids to Thomas Jefferson. Rutherfordton is a very nice area so look for houses there 28139 zip code. I hope that helps.
