Republican nominations are coming up soon....

Who would you support as representing West Virginia.....

Newt Gingrich
Mitt Romney
Ron Paul

I'll throw in Barack Obama, if you prefer the sitting President.

I have the same opinion I did in 2008.

It won't matter for West Virginians who is in charge. They will continue to ignore the state because there is no political capital to be gained from caring about it.

Yes, and the state government also ignores the State. That is why WV is such a mess.

I'm standing behind Obama, but I'm not registered to vote here. I'll make the drive in for election day, for sure, but he's going to win my home state by a landslide. He's not going to win West Virginia though, so I'll leave it to the rest of you to debate the Republican candidates. Personally, I don't see any of them winning the general election but Romney.

Wow really surprised with sticking with what we have. If things continue down this path people from the DC area and other big cities will be pounded on our door to find a place of refuge. Think I am wrong? Then keep your head in the sand.

One more thing, for those that want O to win again how many just vote party lines? Meaning go in and select all Democrat? Yes I am conservative but I NEVER vote party line and vote for the individual including Sen. Bryd when he was in an election. While a conservative I have voted for many democrats over the years because I thought they would "represent" us the best. Isn't that what our fore Fathers wanted?

My opinion... they could run Alfred E. Newmann and beat Obama. All they have to do is ask "Are you better off than you were four years ago?" It will be all about the economy.
