According to this, LG may be interested in opening up some operations in WV. This would be great news!
I have a really good feeling about this one from what I’ve heard so far. Looks like there is an announcement scheduled for 4 p.m. tomorrow. I’m sure it will be streamed on the governor’s YouTube. I’ll be on the lookout!

I wonder where they are looking at. If President Gee was involved in getting them in, I'd imagine they will locate near Morgantown. Or at least within the I-79 Tech Corridor. Anywhere they go will be fantastic for WV.

They announced today that LG Electronics USA will be making a $700M investment and creating two offices in WV - one located in Morgantown, and the other located in Huntington. However, the $54M authorized by the WVEDA for LG was specific to Monongalia, Kanawha, and Jefferson counties. I also read presumably the Huntington Office is supposed to be the start of a new "Innovation Corridor". The LG offices are also expected to spur further growth in WV's technology sector.
Great start to 2024, and hopefully many more investments like this are underway for the state. It's great to see WV attracting highly-skilled tech jobs.

It's been nice hearing all of the recent announcements of economic development all across the Mountain State. Love them or hate them, our state's elected officials have been working hard to diversify WV's economy and attract new investments.
