Is tail-gaiting a problem in Washington State?

The reason why I am asking this is because I am thinking of making a move that may be in the near future and Washington State is up there for me.

Some background info about me - I'm from Connecticut and people here do seem to rush quite a bit, tail-gait a lot and honestly it's getting annoying.

Is moving to Washington State a smart move to avoid this? You know- the whole idea that the West Coast is more laid back and what have you?
