I have lived in Seattle for 30 years and am considering a move as I retire. Looking for people's experience living either in Birch Bay or Semiahmoo. Is this a retirement community? Active and engaged or do people drive into their garages and not interact as a neighbohood? How is the Semiahmoo or Birch Bay homeowners association? From the real estate, looks high end... so wondering if neighbors are friendly, snooty, or if they are 2nd home owners and not around much. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
