So Washington is one of the states where someone tested positive from the recent outbreak. Are you concerned about catching it? Are you ready to take the monkeypox vaccine when they're available? How do you feel about catching it through close contact such as bodily fluids, clothes or sex?

It doesn't sound so bad to me, but if it later becomes smallpox we're in trouble.

Also, Inslee tested positive for covid with mild symptoms. Are you concerned about our governor?

The smallpox vaccine has been tested over centuries, and shown it is safe and effective. There won't be the same sort of resistance to the smallpox vaccine as there has been to the experimental Covid vaccine.

Monkey Pox would not be any fun, but it can be ridden out at home and not clog up the hospitals. Itching doesn't require hospital care like clogged lungs sometimes do.

Concerned about Inslee because he has a mild touch of Covid? Oh, I get it, you are making a joke

I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to necessarily roll the dice on monkeypox. Those lesions look painful and quite frankly, disgusting.

I hope it ends up being a big nothing and goes away.

May 27 (Reuters) - Around 20 countries where monkeypox is not endemic have reported outbreaks of the viral disease, with more than 200 confirmed or suspected infections mostly in Europe.
The UNITED STATES confirmed nine additional cases in seven states on May 26. The total number of infections is up at 11 since the first infection was discovered on May 18.
With world population at nearly 8 billion (200+ cases) and the US population at 331 million 8 cases). Those who are spreading fear over another possible pandemic over 200+ monkeypox epidermic is nuts.
Pure fear mongering.
The number of confirmed cases of monkeypox worldwide has reached 219.

The CDC has raised the travel advisory with monkeypox to a level 2, which means we should take proactive precautions while attending the pride parades this month. Also, please resist the urge to play with dead rodents. Bill Gates and Fauci said we're due for more pandemics, but he has shots to protect us. Covid also started with just a few cases. Contact tracing will ramp up because the monkeypox virus can survive on clothes and shared areas such as in the workplace.

It won't go away. It suddenly appeared in several countries for a reason. There is a plot here that has yet to play out.

It must be tiring, living life thinking that everything is a plot against everyone.
