Which is a prettier drive etc 110 or 112 going west, on Olympic peninsula?

I assume you actually mean 101, not 110 because I am not aware of a 110 on the peninsula. I prefer 101 going west from Port Angeles because it goes along the shoreline of Lake Crescent which is absolutely beautiful and 112 doesn't have anything like that. Once you get farther west you want to head up to 112 because it goes right along the shoreline of the Strait of Juan de Fuca out to Neah Bay and is quite pretty.

Although I am also unsure if bloom meant US-101 or SR-110, SR-110 is the highway to LaPush north of Forks.

While making my first visit to Cape Flattery, the Sequim greeter ladies suggested that I avoid 112 as "it's not a good road" and gave me the advice which you just gave.

As my house does not have air conditioning while my car does, I may make an impromptu drive rather soon on that section of 112 which I was told to avoid. I'm now curious as to what I have been missing.

Meant 101 (oops) vs 112 to Cape Flattery, Neah Bay. I heard the 112 is interesting but looking to hear other views.
Also, which is faster, fwiw, though in not so much hurry?

If you are heading around the peninsula then 101 is faster. If you are going to Neah Bay and Cape Flattery then they are about the same but 112 may be a bit quicker.

Thanks. No big hurry to Neah Bay/Cape Flattery. Which route is more interesting, prettier?

Both are in different ways. If I were going to Cape Flattery for the first time, I'd take 101 west from Port Angeles past Lake Crescent to hwy 113, head north to 112 and out the Neah Bay that way.

As I have already said, I have not driven on the section of 112 in question, but I doubt that there's much along there which can compete with Lake Crescent. (From Google Earth, it looks like timber land to me.) Also, for clarification, the "greeter ladies" which I previously referred to were at the Sequim Visitor Information Center. I would trust their judgment to take US-101 over 112. (And while that has been a while ago, they might still give tips and brochures about places to stop along the way.)

And so I assume that you are circling the peninsula and that taking one route westward and the other route back eastward isn't a possibility?

This way out, because you are right next to Lake Crescent, so amazingly beautiful. And back in on 112, with frequent stops along the Strait.
