Hi all. I am looking for an overnight camp for my 10yr old daughter. She has been attending a local YMCA camp but wants to go for longer than a week this summer. I've found Camp Nor'wester and Four Winds which both have longer sessions but does anyone know of anywhere else in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho?

Thanks!

I used to go to Camp Sealth over on Vashon Island every summer. Most of their sessions are about a week, but you can string multiple sessions together. I have many fond memories of my time at that camp. A family friend just started sending her daughter there last summer and it was so nice to hear about all of the traditions still intact.

My kids went to Camp Reed and had great experiences. Camp Reed | YMCA Summer Camp I think most of their sessions are a week long.

My daughter attended all of her over night camps through the Girl Scouts. She wasn't a member but paid the $10 dues for the year and was able to participate in everything that Girls Scouts offered. They have some beautiful camps in Carnation, Lilliwaup, on the hood canal, and Belfair. Those are just the ones she stayed at but there are others. All with different offerings and lengths. From 4 to 8 days. It was a great experience for her and a good intro to being away from home but staying in the company of female companions and leaders.
