Hi, we are going to be moving to seattle this coming june. my husband will be working with boeing. I have three kids, 12, 7 and 4 years old. I have been on the net for fews days now checking what area is good. I think Mill creek, Mukilteo, and edmonds are at the top of the list. but my son has asthma and I think that mill creek will work better of us. can anyone help me with this. I start looking at some appartments and I don't want to have any surprise once there . please I will really appreciate some help. thanks.

I'm trying to understand how Mill Creek would be better for your son's asthma.

Really they're all family towns and could suit your needs, that all you'd have to do is check it out and see if it "fits" you. Personally I don't really care for Mill Creek, (predominantly a development with all these strip malls). I like Edmonds more than Mukilteo (steep hills). Mukilteo has a great park (Lighthouse park), Edmonds has a real DT core.

I would suggest Snohomish and Lake Stevens as well.

HI, I taught since mill creek is far away from the ocean that it will work better. I am going to check the other town that you told me about. thanks for your reply.

Ah... FYI, unless your doctor says otherwise, ocean air is actually *great* for those who have asthma. My sister used to suffer asthma attacks a lot 'til we moved here, then it greatly decreased to a point she's essentially cured now (hasn't has an attack in over 15 years).
