Ok... I am 24, recent college grad, with a BS in Accounting and Finance. i am currently thinking about moving to the DC Area. I have lived in Miami and in Tallahassee. I love the idea of having access to the city life, but I live living in the suburbs. I have never been to DC and dont know what to expect job wise. Currently, I hold 3 years experience in gov't accounting... what is the job market life there like?? Dating life?? What are safe areas w/ access to transit/public transportation. Where I can still be a 20 year old but also be a young professional?

1000 not going to get you too much. Possibly a studio somewhere. Check craigslist.

with that price range you're going to have to choose safe or near public transportation, unfortunately.
