My neighbor is punping serious money at a dealer to keep a 20 year old 6 cylinder Volvo operating. He says he is a dedicated volvo buyer and he got a newer 4 cylinder turbo volvo for his wife, but he doesn't want one for himself. He is age 75 now, so I don't think he can keep it running for the rest of his life.
Do other Volvo owners feel the same way?
I know that Subaru had a 6 cylinder engine from model year 1988 through and including model year 2019 and many people don't want the 4 cylinder turbos.
Now we are even moving towards the 3 cylinder turbos in the Buick ENCORE; Chevrolet TRAILBLAZER; Nissan ROGUE; Ford BRONCO SPORT and the ESCAPE
Now most brands produce a 4 cylinder turbo, but they still have a 6 cylinder for certain applications. Only the underlined brands do no produce a vehicle today with more than 4 cylinders.
