We just moved to CA from Boston area. I am looking into the above 3 preschools for my 2yo and 4yo.

Does anyone have experience with any of the above?

I'm particularly interested in each school's focus on community, social/emotional development, and pacing that reflects the child's needs/wants... Academic is okay as long as it is a balance approach to child development

Also, any other suggestions?

Thank you in advance!!!

Elissa

I have no other experience except my sister attended Honey Tree in the late 80's or early 90's and she graduated with a Master's degree from Emerson. I think whichever you choose, they're going to end up alright.

Hi Elissa,

we've been here for a year after moving from the East Coast(Virginia) and can relate to what you are experiencing right now.

We looked around and eventually chose Honey Tree. It ended up being a really good decision, and our son(also a 4 YO) has really enjoyed his year there. The teacher to child ratio is kept very tight, which was important in our case as our son is having to play catch up a bit on the social/emotional development and working with them based on where they currently are on the developmental spectrum.

Send me a message if you would like to discuss further, but having brought the first year to conclusion-this was a good decision and I would definitely send our 2 yo there as well without hesitation.

Hope this helps.
