That's always been my experiences in the NW, too. Most I've dealt with are pretty friendly, but that might be because I used to live in a pretty rural area. But even while working in much larger communities, I found some great people. A few people can be a little nasty or less than pleasant, (heck, I think you can find that anywhere), but on average, most are pretty good people.
