Wolf Like Me had a good and unique 1st Season.
I have the 2nd Season but have not seen it yet, will soon.

Does Farscape count? It was made in Australia, and (I assume) also shown there.

I think "The Newsreader" is the best recent Australian series I've seen.
The 2nd season was released last year, and watching it now.
And 3rd season is coming later this year.
And its set in the 1980s.

Just throwing this out there: For those who want to get DVDs that aren't in your region, check your computer. Many computers today will play DVDs regardless of what region they're from. I'm in the US and I just ordered Old School from Australia and it plays fine on my computer. I've also ordered No Offence from the UK and that also plays with no problem on my computer.

I also learned a favorite new word from Old School .
