New comedy series on Max called "Bookie". Created by Chuck Lorre & Nick Bakay.

It stars the stand up comic Sebastian Maniscalco as Danny, a guy who takes bets and spends most of his time trying to get paid. I watched the first two episodes last night and its a funny show, especially if you're like me and enjoy sports betting films and tv.

Lots of funny banter between Danny and his former NFL player/collections man Ray. Also Danny's wife and sister busting his balls every chance they get. He has to deal with sports gambling becoming legal (along with weed)and everything else that's trying to take his money.

Good r-rated sit-com.

Watched the first episode. Enjoyed it --- though MAX was having so many sound issues that I gave up trying to watch episode two. The sound track kept going off from the video so that we heard the dialogue 3 seconds before the character spoke it onscreen. Will probably try again.

Anyone else having MAX sound issues lately?

Two more episodes just dropped, giving you 4 eps for a small binge opportunity.
