I can imagine this would make a good movie script or short series—and would love for Mirren to be one of the stars…
That book is not but Sheridan
Just a book I saw reviewed and got on Amazon for Kindle
Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Rayburn
Sorry for confusion
I just thought Mirren would be interesting
She already did the 2 “Red” movies

Interview with Ford about his role, with a very useful Dutton family tree:

I’m confused about something…we are getting Yellowstone in real time on Paramount. We used to have to wait for it, since we don’t get PPlus. Is 1923 going to be on Plus or regular?

1923 is going to be on P+, same as 1883. I assume Paramount may show the first episode right after the next Yellowstone episode, like they did with 1883 and Tulsa King, as a teaser, but I'm just guessing. We subscribe to P+ exclusively for the Sheridan shows. And we put up with the inane commercials...At least we can FF through them after we DVR Yellowstone, but a streaming channel doesn't give you that option.

According to my TVCue listings, Paramount on cable today will show two earlier episodes plus a NEW episode of Yellowstone - followed by the premiere of 1923. They did the same last year with 1883, showed two or three episodes of that before moving the series to Paramount+.

Has Helen Mirren ever before done a Western? It's so odd seeing her in pioneer dress holding a rifle...lol.

I liked 1883. My wife and I just finished watching it last night.

The writers obviously did research on what life was like back then. Sadly, too often in shows today the wild west would be nothing but a location for a modern themed show to take place in. The writers would be completely ignorant about those times, and wing it.

My only criticism was that it seemed like they went out of their way to portray 90% of all whites as cowardly, selfish people, or as villains and sociopaths. Besides the main characters, all the rest were really just hateful people.

I'm lost.....can you help?

Who is Harrison Ford playing? I know he's a Dutton, but cannot place him.
Also, who is the man in Africa? And yes, he's a hunk.

I'm really lost with this show....
