I am looking forward to it. I loved those shows, back in the 80's...Falcon Crest, Dallas, Dynasty...

Looks like TNT is trying to revive the prime time soap. Was never a fan but TNT has yet to disappoint. They weren't kidding when they say they know drama

It is actually located in Parker, Tx in Collin County. Not even in Plano.
It's only about 6 miles up the road from me. Everything around it has developed. It's now a huge venue for weddings, receptions, corporate events and they have a big freedom concert around the 4th of July w/ fireworks. Of course the big events all take place in a big arena they built. Nastia Lyken had her big parade to welcome her back home to Parker end there w/ a big to-do and all.

After seeing an extended commercial for it, I think they might be headed in the right direction and may indeed be successful with it.

I watched Dallas, but I gave up on them when they had the whole 'it was a dream' deal. That was a deal breaker and I only came back to watch the final few episodes.

Now Knots Landing was what hooked me and I never missed that one unless I had no choice.

My sister's inlaws used to live pretty close to South Fork and I too have driven by it. It can be impressive, but then again very little was actually filmed there...lol

Thirty years there and I never knew there was a Parker, TX! I suppose with the new Dallas series they will continue to never actually be be out at South Fork. I always thought I would come back to Florida and I did but I miss my Big D friends. I'm doing a rain dance for ya!

Not that JR would mind.

I love Freudian slips.

They could keep Dallas going for years if, as the show progresses they bring back Gary Ewing, middle son of Jock & Ellie ... of course they will need Lucy to make a grand entrance probably with a few children of her own. Then there is Jock's illegitimate son Ray Krebbs probably with more young Krebbs.

If they find they need more villains they can resurrect a few of Digger Barnes relatives. After all Jock did steal Digger's oil well.
