I opened up Hulu last night, and 9/11: One Day in America was on the opening screen. I decided to give it a try. (It’s a six-part National Geographic documentary.)
I’ve watched a lot of documentaries about 9/11, but I have to say this was the best and most comprehensive one I’ve ever seen. Really well put together, with not a lot of repeat footage. Good interviews too. It reinforced my appreciation of first responders. Made me cry more than a few times.
Thank you for mentioning that documentary. I binged it yesterday and it was well worth the time.
I am watching Only Murders in the Building and Nine Perfect Strangers.

I just listened to the book on Audible. It was fantastic! I had no idea it had been turned into a tv show. I just watched the trailer, and clearly they did not follow the book. I don't know why they always have to change it into something else. It was an amazing book.

Good to know. I have started the TV show but I am not 100% sold on it. I know that one of the complaints of the reviews was that it paled in comparison to Big Little Lies. Is the whole series out yet? I prefer to be able to binge at the end and will do that with Only Murders in the Building as well.

No idea if it is all out. I don't have Hulu so I won't be able to see it. But I do recommend the book!
Worth a look and somewhat timely...although their 'virus' is yet to be explained it is pretty chilling to watch all male mammals drop dead within hours of each other.
It's amazing how quickly society grinds to a halt when half the population is gone. I personally think women would do a better job of keeping things together than men but there are many areas where infrastructure would suffer due to more men working in certain fields (energy production/supply chain, etc)
Thanks for mentioning that..I would love to watch both again. Homicide would actually be my top watch, but can’t have everything!
You're welcome. Modern TV is so poor that Im paying for a 40 year old series! Well at least CHI PD returns on Sept. 22nd!
