Hi:

I've been flying in and out of Tucson Airport when coming for the winter. Great airport, just limited flights going to and from Boston (I'm on Cape Cod and that's my most convenient airport). This year we're going to try leaving from Phoenix airport as I prefer non-stop flights (none out of Tucson). I was told of a shuttle service that sounds promising. Arizona Shuttle:

Arizona Shuttle Service

They leave just about on the hour from Tucson and take you to the Phoenix airport. Cost is reasonable. $40 for one, another $30 bucks for a second person. Much less expensive than taxi!

I'll give them a try this May when we head back. Does sound like a good way to get to Phoenix airport.

I've used the Arizona Shuttle numerous times, and it's never let me down. Good route to go. They can be a little cramped and crowded at times, though.

I second the Arizona Shuttle. Have also used it numerous times to go from Sky harbor to Tucson and back.

Arizona shuttle will work fine for you. The only (minor) drawback is if you need to go airport to airport. I don't believe they do that. They have another company AZ Stagecoach that does that. Otherwise it's a reasonably priced way to get from Phoenix to Tucson.

as Cody said, it can be crowded...it's just a large van with bench seats like some hotel/car rental shuttles at airports....you may need to go to a central departure spot if you don't want home pickup....and make sure you went to the bathroom first....
