NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- As the battered airlines cut flights to save on fuel-related costs, passengers can bid bon voyage to discount flights to sunny vacation destinations like Florida, experts say.
Anyone thinking about starting-up an ox cart service?
Snippet from the article: The most serious impact, thought not perhaps as widespread, will be felt at small regional airports located in rural areas or near major hubs in big cities.
I've already noticed that a couple airlines have cut flights to my airport, which is Jacksonville. I don't often use discount airlines, but I did formerly use Frontier. Guess I won't be doing that anymore, they have cut Jax from their list of destinations.

I know you're joking, but there probably *is* a future in alternative transportation--maybe even the four-footed kind.
People transportation started out with animals and they're the natural regression of "progress"! At least it doesn't take 10 years to bring a new animal to market like crude oil!
