Texas AG Paxton sues cities over marijuana decriminalization. He is suing five Texas cities over their decriminalization of marijuana. for “instructing police not to enforce Texas drug laws concerning possession and distribution of marijuana.
For “instructing police not to enforce Texas drug laws concerning possession and distribution of marijuana."

The five cities targeted in Wednesday’s suit are Austin, San Marcos, Killeen, Elgin and Denton.
He said that the cities violated state laws and the Texas constitution concerning marijuana possession and distribution, claiming it to be unlawful for municipalities to adopt ordinances inconsistent with laws enacted by the Texas Legislature.

Note:
The five cities are home-rule cities — jurisdictions that under the Texas constitution are allowed to establish any law or ordinance unless it’s expressly forbidden by state or federal law.

Yeah, well good luck to him.

Draconian laws like this are not going to be enforced in Austin and that's a good thing. I'm happy to have a 6 month supply of gummies at home and I'll replenish it again come fall. So silly. I'd suggest Paxton go do something to himself that may be physically impossible.

Red state 'hemp' = ok.

Blue state 'marijuana' = bad.

As the hemp industry has gotten better and smarter since Trump signed the Farm Bill, it's 99% the same **** nowadays ... but a large portion of the voter base doesn't understand this.

Paxton is 61, which isn't geriatric. I would love for him to be out of office, but it's not going to happen soon from age. Heck, the Lt Gov Dan Patrick is over 70 and still pushing his radical agenda.

That wasn't my logic, it's the asinine logic of our politicians who clearly didn't know what they were legislating.
