I resolve to live a much more healthy lifestyle. I have been neglecting a lot of necessities for health during the last year and that is about to change! Nothing tremendous, but I resolve to exercise more and eat better. What about you case?

Well, normally, it's been a tradition for me not to make any resolutions because I often break them. However, this coming year might be different. I'm at an age where I've got to take better care of myself healthwise. If I pledge one thing, that would be it.

I have the same resolutions I have had for at least 50 years--eat better and exercise. I usually manage for about two weeks....

I pledge to give more than I receive. That means ....time, money, care, mercy, patience, but not advice.......I'm already good at that!!!!

More of the same, case! Some years more than others I am good about watching what I eat and exercising but last year I wasn't so good. This new year I am really going to have to keep on top of it only this time I am not going to punish myself if I slip up a bit. Every now and then, for instance, one meal a week where you just eat what you want, is not going to ruin you as long as the next day you go right back to eating healthful.

I like that plan blueskies. I have actually joined Weight Watchers, and they tell you it is okay to have one meal a week that you eat what you want--within reason. It certainly has made it easier for me to diet than when I am given a list of forbidden foods that I can never eat for the rest of my life....
