Progress Energy is dropping its rates by April in FL as well. Good news for residents of at least two states. Maybe the power of the watchdog is working for consumers.

I just paid last months bill. Considering how cold it was, paying $150.00 for a apartment wasn't bad. I was worried after hearing the amounts of most peoples bills!
I'll take the decrease and be happy.

My electric bill was $69.90 last month for a 2/2 apartment. I just paid it yesterday. It will be even lower next month, I'm sure, as there were days when I had heating/cooling shut off.

We just got our new one. Over $300 again for the last month and we pretty much kept the heat OFF because we can't afford a bill like this. I slept with 4-5 blankets every night in the cold spells.

I DETEST Johnson City's power system. Everywhere else is tremendously cheaper.

My electric bill was $79 last month and my gas bill for this month was $133. Not too bad considering the heat ran a lot. It was cold. Hoping for a drop this month. It has been a week since the heat has kicked on.
