SmartAsset analyzed some data to determine what places in the state are the best for small businesses. They looked at the percentage of people who own a small business, how much money is made through small businesses, and the amount of taxes paid by small businesses. The counties with the top scores:

The statistic I found interesting is what SmartAsset calls "Small Business Income." To arrive at this figure, SmartAsset took the total amount of reported income in the county and how much of that was from small businesses.
