can anyone tell me about carthage tn, and the surrounding area, thinking about moving there , 4 kids under 11, able to retire, how are schools , shooping etc and most of all how do tenn people accept ny'ers:

carthage is a great little town ---very small very poor-----you would have thought Gore would have done more for his home town. Schools should be very good country school. Not too far from Cookeville east or Lebanon west for shopping. If you want more info -----ask

I moved here approx. 4 yrs ago & I love it small town with alot of conviences,,friendly people,great schools, & best of all the scenery its beautiful here..
