This sounds great!
Just a note about the date, April sounds good, except if there is swimming, brrr too cold for that then! The first or second weekend in May won't be good for us as we are having a big celebration for my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary.
I would invite you all and combine the two, but don't thinks the folks would appreciate that one to much LOL!!!
Oh and someone remind me again please, what town, part of TN is Fall Creek Falls Park in? I have never been there. Sounds great though!

About half-way between Nashville and Knoxville. Head due south from Cookeville.

Thanks kitty-cat for helping out the little mouse LOL!!!
So I guess that would be about a 3 hour drive from Tri-Cities.
Is it in central time or eastern? If it is central that is good as we would travel fro three but be there in 2 LOL!

If you keep going west you'll just get younger and younger.

FCF is about 30 miles south of Cumberland Mountain Park.

Its about 18 miles west of Pikeville.

You are right, April might be a little chilly for swimming...I don't think the pool at the Inn is heated. The pools may not even be open that early.

Here is the state of Tennessee website for FCF.

There are events and activities listed that some might want to do so everyone can look that over and see. You can also check out the conference rooms and other areas available.

I believe FCF lays in Spencer, doesn't it? That's how we get there anyway. Once we're in Spencer there are signs that say 'Spencer, home of FCF'. Anyway, it's right up the road from us - just up Hwy 30 and then through Spencer. Sounds great to me!

HWY 30 runs from Spencer to Pikeville and you turn from there to the north entrance of the park.

Hwy 111 comes in the back side of the park as we call it. I think the road is called Archie Rhinehart Parkway. I'm sure there are signs out on 111.

Most of the park is located in Van Buren county, however the area around the riding stables is in Bledsoe county.

Easter Sunday is March 23, so April looks good. Hope we don't get another late freeze....
