Me and my 15 yr old daughter recently relocated here to Clinton, TN from coast of MS. I have only lived here for 6 months. I love TN the mountains,& the people are wonderful . I also have a great job at UT . My problem is my 15 yr old daughter. She is a freshman at Clinton High School. I hate this school Clinton High School. I am looking to relocate to a smaller city close to UT Hosp. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Sassi

Default Maryville

We are looking to move to Maryville. I have checked out their schools. In the city of Maryville, there is only one highschool and it is rated as one of the best in the state. The only drawback it that city of Maryville real estate is sky high. I have heard that you can live outside the city of Maryville and pay tuition to attend their schools. If anyone else has information on other school districts in that area, I would love to hear about it. Also, I recognize that just because a report says a school is good does not mean it is good for your child. So, any first hand knowlege on the Maryville schools would also be appreciated.

Smile Relocating elsewhere

Sassi_britches! Well, anyone with a handle line that, from the MS Gulf Coast is worthy of comment. I would suggest you look into the City of Maryville. It is close to your employment at UT, and would probably have a good school system. I would suggest you contact another forum. Try URL removed - read the rules and sign in to the system. Then you can select Tennessee Cities (Maryville etc.) and ask the questions there also. It is just an additional tool for you to use.

Good luck in all your endeavors Sassi_Britches.....
