Hello everyone,
My husband and I are both recently retired and live on Long Island, NY. As I type this, we're getting 4-6 inches of snow, and we're not done for the season.

We're interested in eastern Tenn, Oak Ridge, and Fairfield Glade(Crossville) areas in particular. We're in search of a planned community, less traffic, slower lifestyle and milder weather. I know Fairfield Glade has an elevation of 2000 ft. and Oak Ridge around 900 ft. Compared to our 130 feet, it's WAYYYYY up.

Any pros and cons would be greatly apprecated.
