It is Green Lakes State Park, by a long shot. The best park in NYS in my opinion.

In a distant second, Butternut Trail.

Syracuse University is a third.

Some may say that parks such as Onondaga Lake Park in Liverpool; Upper Onondaga Park in the Strathmore area of the city; neighborhoods/communities like Westcott/University, Sedgwick, Strathmore, Scottholm, Armory/Clinton and Hanover Squares in Downtown, Franklin Square, Tipperary Hill and Eastwood in the city; villages such as Skaneateles, Liverpool, Manlius, Fayetteville, Baldwinsville, Cazenovia and Hamilton; a grocery store like Green Hills Farms in Nedrow/the Valley, Nichols in the village of Liverpool and a meat market like Spera's in Cicero; the Route 20 Corridor in the Fall, all of the festivals and the State Fair during the warmer months are some other "Best Of" aspects of the region.
