Let's hear from the experts of CNY.

I would prefer Syracuse, as I would be working in this area.

Can you be more specific about what you are looking for?

Ok...When I asked that, what type of rental are you looking for? What kind of neighborhood are you looking for? Things like that, as I'm not going to give a suggestion recklessly on here.

By the way, where would you be coming from?

Coming from Commiecalifornia.

Its time to come back. Everyone important to me is aging, and CA is a mess with the pollution, traffic, and crazy governor.

This still doesn't offer anything specific in terms of what type of rental/community/price point in terms of a place to live in. What about those things or it is just a waste of time?

I would say a quiet place, maybe 900-1300. Around there. 1 bedroom.

Ok...Given what you have mentioned, here are some places that come to mind: https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...are-Apartments (in Sedgwick on the North Side near Eastwood)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...tments-blj5k29 (in quiet area of the outer North Side, but check the building itself)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...tments-8k8qjj1 (in a quiet part of the city's East Side, again check the building itself)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...mes-Apartments (in a quiet area just outside of the city limits in DeWitt, close to Nottingham Plaza, with another plaza which includes a Tops Supermarket)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...tments-ef67lmq (appears to be updated and is not far from Syracuse University in the Outer Comstock neighborhood on the East Side)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...mes-Apartments (also just outside of city limits in Lyncourt/town of Salina and not too far from Shop City Plaza, which again has a Tops Supermarket)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...tments-5d33tqq (not too far outside of city limits on Onondaga Hill and across from Onondaga Community College, where you can catch a bus on this route: https://www.centro.org/docs/default-...sn=76884c9d_44 )

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...tments-vps0kdf (it is not too far from the complex above on Onondaga Hill)

https://www.apartmentfinder.com/New-...nor-Apartments (in a quiet area just within city limits above the Valley neighborhood, with quick access to I-481 and I-81)
