Thanks for the feedback, as I am considering buying in either area, but leaning on Sedgwick right now. I know that there are other better areas in the Cuse (Dewitt, Fayetteville, Manlius, Camillus), but I prefer the lower taxes.

I like both, but what I think gives Sedgwick the edge is its proximity to a corridor with good public transportation coverage(James Street).
Another “old money S” neighborhood in the city that you want to look into is Scottholm on the East Side. Not too far from Syracuse University/University Hill, Le Moyne College or Westcott Street.
Thanks for the reply ! I just got it this morning.
Anyway, Scottholm...is that considered Meadowbrook?
It is next to Meadowbrook and some may consider it to be a subneighborhood of the Meadowbrook neighborhood. Bradford Hills/Heights(DeWitt side/portion) is similar. That (sub)neighborhood is located behind Nottingham High/along Euclid Avenue south of Meadowbrook Drive. It is another middle/upper middle class area.

Thank you ! Appreciate you taking the time to help.
No problem and if there any other questions, just ask. I say that, because there may be other neighborhoods within the city that you could be interested in, if you are open to other parts of town.
Where would you buy ???? I have about 200k (low end) to 400k (high end) to spend. But, its just me, so don't really need a big house, just want a dynamic area. I like Dewitt and Fayettville (less crime), but I am open to Camillus (probably the best suburb outside of Dewitt and Fayettville). I think Sedgwick and Strathmore are too ghetto (not trying to be mean, but that I was I see, and have experienced so far in these area). Same with University area, just too ghetto and college kids drinking on the porch. SMH. Silly rabbits spend all that money to go to school and drink it away.
I would appreciate all feedback on this !
Thanks !
