Yes, Eastwood has actually improved in terms of newer buildings. If more rentals could be renovated, it would add to the improvements in the neighborhood.

Opioid issues are actually probably bigger outside of the city. I dare say, hence more attention to combat it.

If you can, I’d say to check out Hanover Square in Downtown as well.
A difference in comparison to Duluth is that Syracuse is only 25.3 square miles with about 144,000 people versus 85,000 people in about 67.8 square miles in Duluth. So, it is a more dense city and living in the suburbs doesn’t necessarily mean living too far out from Downtown or the University Hill area.
