Here we go...onto Gonzaga. Beat Gonzaga, and we fave either Virginia or Iowa State.
I think they can do it tonight. Virginia has had their number, but the last meeting was close until the end. Iowa State may bring a lot of fans to Chicago, but may be a good matchup, if they win tonight.
First, thanks to all the posters who guided me on my search. It is official: I am attending Syracuse University. I did not bother to apply Iowa State or the University of Minnesota. In the end, I thought that paying the extra for Syracuse University was better. Financial aid at 'Cuse brings down the cost by a couple thousand, but the extra cost for tuition is worth it in my opinion.
At 'Cuse, I will be able to run on their cross country track and field team. Unfortunately track and field and cross country do not give out scholarships like football and basketball. Syracuse is also an overall better school. While Iowa State and Minnesota Twin Cities may be on the same par as 'Cuse, 'Cuse's reputation is lightning years above Iowa State or Minnesota.
'Cuse has the best campus. 'Cuse has a pizza place, Chipotle, and some independent restaurants I never heard of on their campus. The lack of fast food restaurants in Downtown Syracuse surprised me though. The architecture at Syracuse is nice also. The campus at 'Cuse in my opinion is just as nice as you would find at Yale or Princeton. The only ugly building on campus is the Carrier Dome. But the interior of the Carrier Dome is one of the most exciting college sports arenas in the country. Maybe not like the stadium at Oregon or 'Bama but still exciting.
In the end, paying the extra $$ for 'Cuse seems worth it. Plus out of state tuition is increasing by like $3500 a year at the University at Minnesota. And I looked on indeed.com and if I enjoy Syracuse during my 4 years there, maybe I will settle in Syracuse.

Congratulations on your choice! I may suggest checking out Panda West on Marshall, if you like Chinese and you may like Wings on Nottingham Road. Westcott Street several blocks east of main campus has a nice range of restaurants, as well as the Westcott Theater for live music.

'Cuse is probably playing North Carolina next Saturday. There are a few reasons why 'Cuse could upset UNC:
1. The two games played vs UNC were close. The first game at the Carrier Dome was before the team really got hot and the second game @ UNC was their senior night when the 'Cuse lost 5 of 6.
2. They have Roy Williams as a coach. He is a good coach, but he has failed in late close game situations, notably the game vs Duke. And this 'Cuse team comes back, which makes it the perfect storm if the team goes down early, 'Cuse could pull another comeback.
3. There is a saying that defense wins championships. UNC can probably literally cannot defend a high school varsity team. Their offense is explosive, but the defense of the 'Cuse is excellent.
4. It is hard for a team to beat the same team three times in a year.
