I saw this story when it aired and was meaning to post. Creating nearly 15 manufacturing within a couple of years is pretty impressive. It's unfortunate the newspaper no longer covers these stories. The success of this company would provide an excellent case study for SU's initiative with military veterans. There should be a business incubator exclusively reserved for veterans in Syracuse. It could be staffed with professionals that would help these startups with procurement and certifications which would allow them to do business with the DOD and other agencies.

I agree and while I like the Veterans programs at SU that include entrepreneurship, I think it could be expanded and even could be a part of Start Up NY, as long as that is available. It would be nice to use the land available/set aside on South Campus for the Syracuse University Research Park to do this. This is a streetview of the land: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=syrac...,88.37,,0,0.69
