Does Forester suppose to come with cargo cover? Or it is an accessory to buy separately?

I did not have cargo cover, and is it something worth to have?

For grocery shopping, with cargo cover, I feel that it could be less convenient to put things in, then take things out.

But without cargo cover, everything is visible.

Thanks.

I dunno... my 2019 Touring came with that, but I took it out shortly after getting the car... it's still sitting in the closet more than three years later - forgot I had it and had to go look just now ;-). So my vote would be no, unless you live in a more crime prone neighborhood.

You got the base Forester, yes? The cargo cover is not standard on the base model.

I would tell you to get one if you want it but you have to make sure the slots for the roller and the catches near the hatch are in place.

It's not really inconvenient most of the time.

Not concerned about crime, more about "privacy", when parking in public parking lot.

OK. Do you have the interior attachments for it? You should, I can't see Subaru having different plastic molded interior parts but they might.

The ones I had on Tauruses had separate catches near the hatch that had to be installed.

If so, it should work.

OK. I was just concerned because of all the angst you've had surrounding this vehicle.
