Maybe kids shouldnt be sitting in front of a SUV. Seriously, thats not near as big of a problem. IMO. the problem isnt really the truck, its the attitude of most of the people Ive seen driving them. (Spending daddys money rich kids who think they own the world)

I will say that while I’ve seen squatted trucks (and full size sedans for that matter), I haven’t seen any which are nearly as extreme as OP’s first pic.
Since your tag line indicates you don't live here, maybe you aren't the best judge. I live in Mount Pleasant and see the squatted trucks a lot. Especially at the Wando High School parking lot.
Good. Putting aside my issues with how it looks (I don't believe vehicles should be banned simply because I find them ugly), it is dangerous and a hazard to others.
I've got no problem with someone owning a squatted truck; if they want to park it on their lawn to show it off, or trailer it to a track to drive it there, or haul it to a car show to compete, then that is whatever to me. Knock yourselves out.
You want to drive on public roads though? Then you need to be able to see the road in front of you, and see pedestrians who may wind up in front of your vehicle (that SHOULD preclude these massive lifted monster trucks and the giant bro-dozers manufactured with a solid 10 foot tall wall for a front grille from being on the road as well, but those unfortunately remain legal at this time).
Yes, there have been several families that have been trying to get them banned after loved ones were killed in accidents with squatted trucks, because the drivers of the trucks couldn't see well enough. The only state they were illegal in before now, was North Carolina.

Says you live in WNY. Curious how you would see squatted trucks from there?
Probably because people have squatted trucks up there?
