Charleston’s the most fun city in the Carolinas at #24. Columbia’s #50. Raleigh and Charlotte are also ranked, Columbia higher than Charlotte.

In my view, a legit fun city list would have cities with more tourism at the top.

Cities like Columbia and Raliegh don't seem like especially fun places to live given their locations.

The Zoo, the lake, Carowinds an hour away, so many cities with an hour and a half, lots of state parks and a national park. Plenty of fun things. They also probably has a city proper threshold. I’d assume it’d be high, but possibly not. Raleigh I’m sure has lots of things for it’s size too. These lists are arbitrary anyways and far from being all inclusive. I’m not disagreeing with you, just stating they’re very objective.
