I am moving from Staten Island NYC to Conway (area) of South Carolina, next year. I am currently transferring my substance abuse counseling credential (from NYS) to SC state, hoping to find a good job in the area treating clients who suffer from substance abuse disorder. Are there a lot of facilities in the area (outpatient clinics, residential programs, detox)? Do you know anyone who has worked at these facilities, and what the atmosphere is like, the salary, and the benefits? Also are these facilities still open since the COVID19 pandemic? Any advise would be super helpful! I am visiting in February for 1 week and hoping to schedule some interviews for that time frame.
