Other than Walmart Market, anything new for Anderson?...
Man every other city - Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, Rock Hill/Fort Mill, Myrtle Beach, Bluffton, Greer, and even EASLEY is booming with new restaurants, retail, and developments, why is Anderson so stalled out. I want more than more Family Dollars and Waffle Houses. Have they completely given up on Beltline Plaza? And what about that project off exit 19?
The recession has been over, the owners havent brought that back up? And how come Simon feels compelled to tune up all their other malls, but leave Andersons to rot? Its almost upsetting. Andersons a progressing city, but everything seemed to be completely stalled.

The planned lifestyle center at the northwest corner of the Interstate 85/United States Route 76/South Carolina Highway 28 interchange must have faded. I think it was to include Dillard's, which opened at Anderson Mall instead. I would not mind seeing additional retail options north of Interstate 85 if more residential communities are conceived. Could a supermarket thrive out here?
Ingle's Markets announced plans to build a new 80,000 square feet store on the site of former store #39 on Pearman Dairy Road across from Westside High School over six years ago. Store #240, 2404 North Highway 81
Anderson, South Carolina 29621-2505, should be undergoing remodeling this year to add a pharmacy and Starbucks.
It would be nice to have Costco and The Fresh Market in Anderson.
