Hi,
Just wondered if I could get some input on the friendliness of southerners. I have heard it said that they are friendly to a point, and that beyond the common pleasantries it is hard to make friends. I say this because I have many good friends up here and would love to take them all with me
, and I am a little concerned about how difficult it may be to develop friendships there.

I haven't had any trouble making friends either but I'm pretty outgoing. It's always easier if you have kids...making contact through your kids always works or if you belong to a church or even if you walk or jog through your neighborhood...it's a great way to meet people.
