whats the best area? (Florence, North: to live in, to move, mechanics) - South Carolina (SC) - City-Data Forum

My Husband is a Diesel Mechanic.. and we are looking to move out of Florida...
but first we need to know where the best area in SC for Diesel Mechanics would be.....any one know of any where....

Not sure about the best area, but Florence is the "halfway" point between North and South. It is located off of I-95 and I-20. I've seen several 18 wheeler dealers open up in the past couple of years. Do not know what help that is nor if that means that a lot of those trucks break down around here but Florence is a great town to live in, not too large not too small.
