Well...

Leicester City knocked out Sevilla, Juventus knocked Porto out.

The Quarters will be interesting. Now the only games remaining is Atletico vs Leverkusen and Monaco vs City.

2 golden days of CL! .

2017-18 Group draw is tomorrow. Will be a little light on the flare so to speak.

Arsenal hasn't qualified for the first time in what, 10 or 15 years for the group stage?? Qarabag won their playoff leg, first time for an Azerbaijan team making it. Olyimpiakos Pireaus out of Greece made the group stage for the 8th year in a row.
Monchengladbach, Wolfsburg & Leverkusen all had bad to terrible years in Bundesliga last year and won't be in the champs league replaced by Leipzig who got auto promotion to the group stage, and Hoffenheim who lost the playoff to Liverpool to drop to the Europa League.
Napoli had to win the qualifying leg against Nice to join Roma & Juve in the group stage.
The 3 main teams in La Liga (Barcelona, Real & Atletico) all qualified but Barca has taken a step back with the Neymar transfer to PSG, and I believe Ronaldo will still be suspended for the first group game Ronaldo plays.
My 3 favorites for this year: Juventus, PSG & Bayern Munich.

Juventus with the goalkeeping of Buffon and the defense can be a threat to beat anyone. Likewise, with the star talent Bayern has with Lewandowski, Tomas Muller, Neur in net and with the addition of James Rodriguez (though the latter 2 are currently out injured) from Real they can beat anyone as well. I went with PSG over Real for my final selection. Sure Ronaldo can score a ton of goals, but I like the attack of PSG with Neymar & Cavani over Real with Benzema, Bale & Modric.

Paris St.-Germain got a strong chance this year of winning the trophy. Cavani, Neymar and Mbappe are in formidable form. Juventus is going down the drain with awful form of Buffon. Messi and Ronaldo can still spark one more time for trophy. My semifinals lineup Barcelona, Real Madrid, Athletico Madrid and Paris St germain.
