Does anyone remember the old fitness club that was near Shreve City in the late 1970s and early 80s? I remember it being very high end, but can't remember much else about it.

Owned by the late Parker Turner, the club had a nautilus shaped swimming pool, several racquetball courts and a healthy assortment of now classic Nautilus fitness devices. Other amenities were sunbeds and fitness classes. Parker liked to park his DeLorean on the pad at the front entrance of the building. The club also had a popular bar with light food service which hosted many diverse and eclectic parties (usually private) which were loads of fun. Perhaps that's why your memory is foggy.
