Honestly it really depends on your needs. Living in San Francisco can be the best decision you've ever made or the worse. If you have a family consider it that much more difficult to live in San Francisco, living costs are high and its only justified if you work in the San Francisco area.

On the other hand if you are single and can afford the lifestyle, San Francisco is the way to go. There are plenty of places to go for dining and nightlife compared to what your brethrens would have in the south bay area. San Jose in my opinion is more suburbia than it ever was close to being a city. Downtown San Jose is very limited in its offering and after you've seen it all.

That doesn't equate to "suburbia." San Francisco is more geared to the bar/restaurant culture than most cities, not just San Jose.

Only if their 'sagging' problem is moving them to steal local Viagra. SJPD must pay due attention to the burgeoning sagging German tourist crime problem. Or maybe it's just a bunch of random unemployed haters from Texas or SF?

Better go down to Teske's Germania and find out.
