I'm glad that I'm not the only one who sees right through that area.

I agree with silverkris. I'm pretty sure most Chinese are like any other folks, money talks. They will sell to the highest bidder. I doubt they will leave money on the table just to sell to other Chinese.

I just attended an open house in my neighbor.. I guess about 100 people went to see it just only Sat. So there are still many home buyers out there and they are rushing to beat the Fed interest rate. The listing's 1M.

The Fed raising interest rate does not mean that mortgage rate will rise immediately. The Fed rate is short term interest. Mortgage rates have already gone up after dropping a couple months ago.

That's true. But people start to realize that low interest rate might be something in the past..

For decades, other cities, states and countries have tried to set up their own Silicon Valley with some successes but mostly failures and no one has matched SV because the creativity and system to create tech companies is present there like nowhere else. I suspect BC and other places will continue to mostly fail to take business from SV. Sure, maybe some tech workers leave but so.

Until someone starts matching the great successes of SV, all this talk is mostly political hogwash that won't amount to a hill of beans.
