Good restaurants!

Good restaurants!
I've never had Afghan food but I heard it is a cross between Persian and Northern Indian cuisine.

Though the high prices will make it hard to accommodate the current wave of Afghans. Some are going to Fremont as well as Hayward and Concord but most are going to Sacramento and cheaper Central Valley cities.

This makes a lot of sense.

Where I am in the Mission in SF, it still manages to be plurality Mexican. I have always assumed they make it work through some combination of having two (or more) adults working, not owning a car, and relying on neighboring households they're friends with for various services like babysitting and borrowing appliances.

California's Nepalese population is booming! Particularly in Contra Costa county.

https://www.sfchronicle.com/projects...lation-growth/

"The fastest-growing subgroup among Asian Americans was the Nepalese population, which more than tripled between 2010 and 2020, growing from 6,200 to nearly 20,000 over the last decade."
