I need a replacement SS card. I thought there was an office near Isom road, I phoned the SS office today and after holding for over 30 minutes I hung up.

Can someone tell me if there is an office on Isom and how long it takes for me to get a replacement card.

Or any info you can help me with regards to SS card.

There is an office on Isom (sort of behind Half Price Books), but I don't know how long it would take to get a replacement card.

Get there early, get a number and the process is fairly painless. New card arrives about a week later.

I don't know if the Federal Court house on Durango (Ceasar Chavez ) would be faster,...having all your paper work taken care of in advance helps,...

Get Or Replace A Social Security Card - Print out form and take with you. I recommend showing up before they open and do not wait in your car for the door to open. Stand in line at the door. You'll be outta there pretty quick. Or you can send the app by mail.

can't you just do it online, ssa.gov?
Try calling in the middle of the week, they close at 7 pm, lots of time to call.

This isn't near Isom Rd but there's a fairly new SS Office on Richland Hills close to 410. I went there recently, it gets a little crowded but things move fast. I think I was there 45 mins. They have a check-in system that uses a grading criteria as to what you're there for. HTH.

Print out and fill out the forms before and have everything ready to go and you're in and out. I think I was there for a total of 20 min last time.

I went to the Federal Building on Cesar Chavez (Durango). Took my driver's license and check stub that had my social security number. I wasn't there more than fifteen minutes.

If you think you might need a document, just bring it. If you need it, you have it. My wife got her last name changed downtown, can't recall how long it took though.
