"Police have arrested a ninth suspect related to a gang rape in ProvidenceAntonio Leiva was arrested on Wednesday at Penelope Place. Leiva, 20, was later arraigned in court and is currently being held."
"The Rhode Island Attorney General said Tuesday that eight men were charged in a 13-count indictment stemming the sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl in Providence that investigators said was videotaped.
Prosecutors said several of the defendants raped the unconscious girl at a Glenham Street home in Providence in December and videotaped portions of the sexual assaults."
"PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) ─ One of eight men arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage girl in Providence two years ago will be spending at least 12 years behind bars, according to Attorney General Peter Neronha. Carlos Chacon, 20, pleaded no contest to one count of first-degree sexual assault, one count of conspiracy to commit sexual assault and one count of possession of child pornography in court Thursday. Chacon and seven other men are accused of luring the 16-year-old girl to a party and plying her with alcohol and marijuana before forcing themselves on her."
I believe that was a clip from the original article, where those 7 had been arrested as of when the story was first put out. One (Carlos Vasquez) later turned himself in and the 9th (Antonio Leiva), was arrested at a later date.
